On the left, I’ve plotted A, K, & M tunnels beneath a grid of the local topography produced by digitizing part of a USGS 7.5 minute topographic quadrangle. The most apparent observation is that Florida is pretty flat.
However, by zooming in on interesting features like Cherokee sink shown at the left of this figure and overlaying a grid, we can begin to measure the proximity of topographic features to the underlying conduits.
