Objective Check condition of existing main line; repair and replace as necessary.
Logistics 1 stage, 1 scooter each.
Bottom Time 40
Maximum Depth 150
Results The basin silted out immediately requiring an on-the-line entry from the surface down to clear water at ~ 60 feet. The old main line was not visible so we ran new line to the upstream/downstream junction. We repaired and replaced the section of line downstream to where it makes a sharp left. We left the line tied off on the wall for the push team. All the old line is in very poor condition; broken and buried in many places and stained black. From 60 feet to the upstream/downstream junction there was a deep layer of tannic water. It cleared up some from there. There was a moderate siphon. We advised the support team to run new white line from the main line below the dumpster all the way up and over it then parallelling the thick permanent rope out to the surface so the remaining teams could have an easier exit in close to zero vis.
